Another day, another first for Noumi Digital… the first of its kind fuel loyalty program for independent forecourt operators in the UK. Working with our retail fuel customers in Leeds and Sheffield, Noumi has introduced a ground-breaking independent fuel loyalty scheme, marking a significant shift in customer engagement for forecourt retailers.

Unlike traditional loyalty programs tied to major fuel brands, Noumi’s system operates independently, allowing retailers to offer personalized rewards directly to their customers. The platform utilizes a tap-and-go device connected to the electronic point-of-sale system, enabling customers to receive digital receipts and unlock tailored offers seamlessly. This approach not only simplifies the transaction process but also provides retailers with valuable insights into purchasing behaviours, facilitating the creation of targeted loyalty packages.

Customers will benefit from 2p off a litre of fuel just for downloading the Noumi App, which can also be white labelled for bigger brands, then receive 3p per litre after the 5th fill up, 4p off per litre after the 10th fill up and then 5p of a litre when they reach 15 fuel purchases. After this, the app resets and they can begin again.

Data is critical to the system, with Noumi using a purpose built data lake which has an AI powered central core to create complicated KPIs to show how the scheme is doing for the retailer with system data on key business metrics like “Repeat Purchase patterns”, “Customer Segmentation” and “Big Spenders” in the data they can utilise to hyper personalise the user journey and increase basket values and revenue growth.

Retail customers like Gardner Garages have embraced the system, offering incentives such as discounted Costa Express coffees and gamified rewards through the ‘Golden Receipt’ feature, where customers can win prizes like free beverages or fuel discounts. These initiatives not only enhance the customer experience but also drive repeat visits and increased spending.
